Moyo’s Story
The mission of Hair Queen LA is deeply rooted in the personal experiences of our founder, Moyo. Moyo grew up in a small village in Cameroon, Africa where clean water was a rare and precious commodity. As a child, Moyo had to walk several miles every day to fetch water, a journey that took up valuable time and energy that could have been spent on education or other productive activities.
This challenging experience left a profound impact on him and instilled a passion for change. Today, Moyo’s vision is to ensure that no child has to endure the hardships he faced.
By building wells and providing clean water, we are not only improving lives but also honoring Moyo’s commitment to his community.
Moyo has currently built two wells in Bakassa, Cameroon, and plans to expand our efforts to other villages in need.
